Res DFind --- Find Pattern Matching DNA Sequences
The program finds sequences that match a simple pattern or a subsequence in your input DNA sequences.
DNA patterns are fixed length and may have degeneracy. Use the following for degenerate codes:
A A C C
G G T T
U T M (AC)
R (AG) W (AT)
S (CG) Y (CT)
K (GT) V (ACG)
H (ACT) D (AGT)
B (CGT) N (ACGT)
To start, simply copy (ctrl-c or apple-c) and paste (ctrl-v or apple-v) your DNA sequences into the input window. Numbers and spaces will be ignored.
Input a pattern name and a pattern sequence, then click on Go.
For finding patterns in protein sequences, please use Res PFind.
If finding patterns on both strands of a DNA is desired, please use Primo Find.
Thanks for using our software! Please let us know your suggestions and comments.
