Primo Diverse 3.4: Primers to Amplify Diverse Regions
Primo Diverse 3.4 is designed to PCR amplify the most diverse regions of
a gene family using one pair of degenerate primers. The primers will be
chosen from the most conserved regions (i.e., least degenerate), yet the products are highly degenerate, allowing users to identify the products by hybridization, sequencing, or other methods. To use Primo Diverse, input a multiple alignments of proteins or nucleotides.
See user instruction for details.
If your goal is to design a pair of degenerate primers for PCR amplifying of all known family members, or for cloning of novel family members, please use Primo Degenerate 3.4.
For normal PCR primer design, please use
Primo Pro 3.4 which
reduces PCR noise by lowering probability of random primering.
Primo Online runs on Java-enabled browsers|
PC: Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher and Netscape 4.08 or higher
Mac: Internet Explorer 5.0, IE5.1.4 or higher (IE5.1 will not work because of a bug.)
